Welcome to Nelly’s Healing Aboriginal Corporation
Nelly’s Healing Aboriginal Corporation is a Sydney based service being developed to create change for Aboriginal people through healing. Gomeroi and Biripi woman Helen Eason is using her experience as a service user and long-time supporter of women, men and young people in her community to develop and implement a service that will be culturally equipped to meet the needs of Aboriginal women and their families in their journeys to healing.
General Referrals and Gullinyjas Project Referrals;
Nelly’s will use strategies that aim to provide highly disadvantaged and at-risk Aboriginal women and their families with a holistic, individually tailored, intensive support service that is embedded in culture. Harnessing cultural and trauma informed approaches and solutions, Nelly’s will strive to peel away layers of intergenerational disadvantage and make real change.
Mentoring, Advocacy and Cultural Support
Nelly’s provides tailored, culturally embedded support for Aboriginal women facing challenges in areas including child protection, criminal justice, drug and alcohol and mental health.

MAY-JULY PROGRAM — ( registration before 13th March 2024 )
Starts Thursday 2nd May 2024 and goes to Thursday 4th July 2024.
An Aboriginal Project for Aboriginal women who are affected by the child protection and criminal justice systems. Some of the Workshops in the Gullinyjas Project include: Alcohol & Other Drugs, Domestic Violence, Mental Health, Legal Advocacy, Cultural Identity, Cooking and even a Pamper Day.
